Coated inside and out with Dupont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick, Anolon Advanced cookware provides heavyweight, professional-quality performance and 21st-century convenience. Pots and pans clean easily, while the rugged nonstick readily releases food. Beneath the nonstick is heavy-gauge, harder-than-steel anodized aluminum. Pot and pan bottoms are left uncoated to conduct heat quickly and prevent hot spots. Bright chrome handles have hanging holes for storage and soft, stay-cool rubber grips for slip-resistance. Break-resistant, domed glass lids permit cooking to be monitored without releasing heat and are oven-safe to 375 F. Hard anodized aluminum is one of the best heat conductors around when it comes to cookware. It also heats evenly, so food cooks at a steady pace, wherever it's location in the pot or pan. Dupont Autograph 2 has been restaurant tested by professional chefs and has been found to surpass standard non-stick coatings both in performance and durability. This cookware is coated inside and out with Autograph 2 which makes cooking without added fat very easy, and which also makes cleaning up a snap. The handle is comfortable and securely riveted and the glass lids allows you to monitor cooking without loss of flavor, heat, or nutrients. This 3 qt. capacity pot is dandy for cooking rice and veggies, as well as for reheating soup and so on.

Whether you hate or love cooking, this is a great piece in a wonderful set of cookingware. I've yet to find a better coated set of pans. Yes, they are expensive, but when you figure how many times you buy "value" pots and pans at Wal Mart and Target over time, you begin to see that real value can truly be found in quality and not just price. So about the saucepan: it's the perfect size, durable, not too heavy, coated and has a secure rubberized handle. Its a great investment to consider.

My wife and I received the pans in this set for our wedding over 3 years ago. They have been excellent despite very heavy use from us. The non-stick still doesn't stick and there is almost no discoloration. They are very easy to clean because the entire pan is non-stick, not just the inside. The silicon on the handle does an excellent job of protecting your hand from being burnt even at high temperatures.
The only problem we've had is that on a few of the pans the silicon part of the handle came loose. I submitted a request to their customer service department on the web and had brand new pans within a week at no cost to me.

Currently this product does very well. For the price you can't beat it. Non-stick works exceptionally well.

My roommate had one that was brand new in which I left water at a bowl in the pot for maybe 10 minutes and the water alone cooked away the protective layer inside the pot and stained it white. Since the pot was not mine I had to replace it at $60. I would have never paid that much if it were for myself.
