Fit this perforated stainless-steel insert into a Scanpan 10-1/4-inch (6-1/2-quart) stock pot before you begin cooking your pasta, and you won't need a colander for draining. Two sturdy loop handles facilitate lifting, shaking off excess water, and pouring the cooked pasta into a bowl or pan of hot marinara sauce. You can also use the insert when cooking other foods that need draining, such as artichokes and corn-on-the-cob.
