Product Description Pro 22" Electric Skillet
Amazon.com Review Generously proportioned with a 22-by-11-inch cooking surface, this indoor electric griddle cooks enough pancakes or hamburgers for a large crowd. Similar to Presto's Model 07038 22-Inch Electric Griddle, this model features a smoother, more professional grade nonstick finish. Because food doesn't stick easily, the griddle requires very little grease, thereby producing healthier food. For fattier meats like bacon, a groove along one side channels drips through a small hole into a sturdy plastic container that slides completely out for cleaning. When the griddle's heat control is removed, the unit is fully submersible in warm, soapy water. The 1500-watt griddle plugs into any 120-volt outlet and automatically maintains any temperature setting from warm to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Made of heavy duty cast aluminum that resists warping and distributes heat evenly, the griddle overall measures 27 by 13 by 4-1/2 inches and is covered by a two-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Best griddle you will ever own! June 9, 2005 Jayne E. Roper (Buford, GA) 27 out of 32 found this review helpful
In 1970 I was given a set of Presto waterless cookware along with a pancake griddle. At that time they didn't have non-stick griddles. Through the years the handles broke, but the grill fit over my stainless steel sink, so no problem. In 1999 I figured it was time to replace it with a new one. I really loved it because it never stuck and once again I could rely on it. In 2002 I started a Pancake Breakfast to raise money for our club. It started with my Presto grill and soon I added a second one. Over the next 18 months we raised $3,500 with those two grills, serving pancakes, french toast, bacon, etc. My 3rd grill is still going strong and puts out our Sunday breakfasts at home. It is so refreshing to be able to depend upon the quality of an appliance these days. Thank you Presto!
I LOVE It! Nice size, easy to clean & great design! December 29, 2007 G. Wade (Brush Prairie, Wa United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have considered getting an electric griddle for years & I finally decided it was time. My family loves an occasional big breakfast so this is a great way to make them without a lot of pans. I can cook hashbrowns, sausage & pancakes on the same pan, all at the same time! It also make excellent french toast. A GREAT time saver! The non-stick coating is nice, not teflon (YUCK) but another textured type of non-stick instead. The temperature adjustment is easy & seems to be accurate.
I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of cleaning 4 pans out with every breakfast! But make sure you have the space to store it as it is large!
Nice size griddle for a large crowd March 30, 2008 Terry C. Weeks (SC) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a nice sized griddle, well suited for large groups. It is used when preparing breakfast items (pancakes, eggs, etc.) to feed 8 hungry guys. Cleanup is easy, as it is totally submersible with the exception of the removable temperature control.
My only complaint is the material the grease cup, handles and legs are made of. The cup was dropped and chipped easily, so we're being extremely gentle when handling the griddle while washing, etc.
Best Electric Griddle I've Found! November 9, 2007 G. Head (San Diego, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I started to buy another similar popular brand of electric griddle after a friend made us breakfast on his. Unfortunately the reviews for it were all bad!? So I decided on the Presto, which had good reviews, was a BIG griddle, and the price was in my range. For my first electric griddle, I am beyond pleased. It heats up fast & evenly...is light in weight but has a huge cooking area. Clean-up is way easy. If I have one complaint, it's the size of the grease catcher, which is a tad small, but then again I cooked 2 pounds of large hickory smoked bacon strips on it, so I had to empty the catch a few times during cooking. This is the griddle to buy.
The best pancake griddle ever September 13, 2007 Stan Foster (Texas, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This Presto griddle is awesome. It holds a constant temperature of 325 or 350 degrees without any problem whatsoever. If you like perfectly cooked pancakes without any burns, then this is the product for you. I tried one at a friend's house and had to get one of my own.
It is better than my Wolf gas range for delicate pancakes. I highly recommend it!
