Product Description The unique oval shape of this Pasta, Etc. Pot means no more breaking long pastas and the convienent pour spout makes draining liquids from the pot easy.Features:A nonstick interior allows food to slide off and fat-free cooking. The Grippy Silicone Handles are comfortable to grip and oven safe to 400??F.The glass lids allow you to monitor foods without removing the lid.In a short time, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just-in-time have sold billions of books and made her one of the top personalities in food television.
Amazon.com Review A creation of television celeb chef Rachael Ray, this oval pasta pot takes a new approach to shaping that feels long overdue. Sized to hold 8 quarts, the deep oval pot is space-efficient on the stovetop, while letting you cook spaghetti or linguine without breaking the noodles. Hard-anodized aluminum for durability, the pan heats evenly and quickly, which is great for boiling a big quantity of water. A glass lid contains heat and steam while allowing visibility, and a nonstick interior makes food release and low-fat cooking easier. Surprisingly comfortable to handle, the pot features fun orange handles with silicone coating for heat resistance and a secure grip. Ideal for pasta, the pot is also great for soups and corn on the cob. It is safe in the oven to 400 degrees F, cleans up easily by hand, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. --Emily Bedard

Best pasta pot January 7, 2007 M. Mitchell (CA) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I originally bought the 10 piece set and loved it so much that I keep adding on. This is my latest addition and I love it just as much as the rest. The pot is oval so that you don't have to break up your long pasta noodles and it has a pouring spout on the side for easy draining. It's also super easy to clean.
great stockpot March 2, 2007 Mary T. Erickson (Lynnwood, Wa USA) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I love it, love it, love it. I use this all the time. It really gives you room in the pan to move your ingrediants around. It has a great pour spout on the side, and pasta cooks up so much better as it has room to move around in the pan. Clean up is a breeze. The handles have a great grip support that stays cool on the stove.
I love this pot ! January 20, 2009 Adele Fugel (Alpharetta, GA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love this pot! I tell my husband that every time I cook something in it for him. It fits well on its burner when using another large pot on an adjacent burner. Its non-stick properties are excellent- it washes beautifully. I am not really a big fan of the color orange, so I would have liked it to come with plain black handles instead of the bright orange color. These rubberized handles, however, stay cool to the touch, so it is easy to handle. The weight of the pot is good- not too heavy to be difficult to lift when full, but not too light to feel flimsy or allow food to burn. It is a great pot for every day if you don't want to have to own too many pots, since you can cook pasta, soups, roasts, and stir frys in it. I may buy more to give as gifts to my son and daughter.
Best cookware on the market April 21, 2008 Patricia Brown (New York) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've been cooking for 40 yrs and I have had several sets of different brands of cookware. I have used Cooks essentials from QVC, Calphalon, Farberware, Circulon etc,.....these are the best I've had so far!
Why did it take this long? June 6, 2007 Stacey Reynolds (North Carolina) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Why didn't someone think of this sooner?Oval so that your spaghetti isn't sticking out of the water.Love it. Easy to clean and reasonably priced. Big for a big family.
