4 out of 5 stars HOT DOG!!   March 18, 2009

We've tried several different styles of hot dog cookers. This one has performed the best. Very like a toaster, it prepares the buns and the hot dogs as we want them every time. Definitely worth the extra cost compared to other similar (but not the same) styles and makes far tastier hot dogs than the steamer style.

3 out of 5 stars could be better   June 9, 2009

Cooks hot dogs just fine but the bun toaster is a waste. Never really had toasted hot dog buns before and not a fan. Good on hamburgers but not hot dogs. Besides the buns will burn if you put them in the same time as the hot dogs. Watch for some flaring up from the juices dripping on heating elements. Dogs taste great though. Wish instead of bun toaster they added two more slots for hot dogs then you could cook four at once for two or more people.

1 out of 5 stars It's melting   September 26, 2009

I bought this hot dog maker for my husband for fathers day this past June. It was working just fine and then recently it shot flames out of the top. I just noticed that the plastic on the side above the dials has melted. This was a good product up until now. It is not safe and will be throwing it out.
