Here come Healthy Legend with the best ceramic non-stick coating from the German Weilburger Greblon. I had replaced all my regular non-stick coating cookwares with the Healthy Legend. This is a large saute pan (deep fry pan) with a break resistance glass lid. It is 3" deep by 11.2" diameter. The ceramic coating is gray in color which is the natural color of the Greblon coating and it is very attractive. The coating protect food from sticking and burning. It facilitates low fat cooking with the use of minimal oil or sprays. The included high quality glass lid is break resistance glass allow food monitoring without lid removal. Non-stick cookware is the most popular cookware in America. So what's wrong with it? Well, for starters, all traditional non-stick PFOA based cookware contains perfluorooctanoic acid, a synthetic chemical used in production that creates a soap-like slipperiness and non-stick finish. Once heated, non-stick pans will quickly reach temperatures at which toxic fumes release into the air. And it doesn't take much heat to do this -- the coating begins to break down and release toxins at a temperature of only 446° F.
