Amazon.com Review Classically straight-sided, this 2-quart saucepan is perfect for making sauces, heating soups, and preparing countless other foods. The phenolic handles and knob are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, so the pan can be used to braise or warm foods in the oven under its tight-fitting lid. Revere's Copper Clad cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Copper is cookware's best heat conductor, and each pot or pan has a copper-clad bottom that spreads heat quickly and evenly. The pan has a loop on its handle for hanging on a hook or peg, carries a 25-year warranty against defects, and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Tops in Pots! March 14, 2007 Phyllis Tyler There is nothing like Revere Ware. I am still using some I received as a wedding present 45 years ago. I was very pleased to see that the new one I purchased was nearly identical to the 45 year old one in quality, shape and style. I don't think there are too many products you can say that about today!
Best Pot Ever September 8, 2008 Jane Bice (Norwalk, CA USA) I have been looking for this pot to complete my set. I looked at all the stores. I should have tried Amazon first. Learned a lesson there. I love Revere cooking pots. They cook evenly, are easy to clean and very sanitary. I don't like pots that have the handles screwed on through the pot. It seems like a good place for germs to hide. I have had Revere pots for many years and never had a handle come off.
Great pot for even cooking. March 13, 2009 Christopher Roberts (PA) This pot has the best even cooking out of all of the pots that are in my cabinets right now!! My wife lovers the pot to cook homemade mac&cheese in cause of the even cooking. If you need a pot this is the one!!
Just what I wanted April 26, 2009 Robert Wesley Bender (Iowa) We have owned a Revere Saucepan and we wanted different sizes. The benefit from buying from Amazon is that I just wanted two new covered saucepans, retail stores have only Sets, forcing you to buy items you don't need. Thank You Amazon, Wesley Bender, Satisfied Customer
Revere 2 Quart covered saucepan November 3, 2009 W. Sargent (Boston, MA USA) The first one I had was given to my parents as a wedding gift (it was used daily as well as to warm my bottles) and was lost in a move when I was 37 (the pan was 42 and still in terrific shape). I've used other pans & pots and have never been totally happy. Considering the service the last pan gave me, I was looking forward to one that would outlast me (I'm 54 now). I remember what this excellent cookware was like and this pan falls short! It's made in Indonesia and the copper coating is thin, even but thin. The bottom is rough, in a large circular swirl where it looks like it was "evened off" or "made flat" as if an afterthought. While the thickness of the wall is pretty good, it isn't as thick as originally made, sort of like most if not all current denim. Also, the lid is a bit looser than previous since the taper of the lid lip has been increased to make it easier to cover, which also makes it easier for steam to escape rather than cook the food properly, the reason for the lid in the first place. While not big things separately, together, I'm not impressed. A name is supposed to mean something which is why you hunt for it and why, if you have one related to quality, you attempt to keep it that way. I guess I'm getting old and becoming another dinosaur that remembers the "Glory Days". Wish we still had some of the quality that made "Made in USA" mean something to the rest of the world, but that's business folks - and that's all!
