Substantial Pot Rack October 1, 2007 Art (OR USA) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is a very substantial pot rack made by Rogar, ideal for a small kitchen, and the matt black finish looks good.
It comes with a nice set of hooks as well.
It's designed to mount to wall studs with 32 inch spaced
mounting holes at each end, and one in the center at the rear of the shelf.
I took previous reviewers advice and discarded the
mounting screws provided which are inadequate and purchased (5) #14 2 inch long philips head wood screws and they worked OK.
I purchased it at Target for under $50 incl shipping.
If you have space the double shelf version is very good value too, but you have to be able to reach the upper shelf when the lower shelf is positioned high enough to hang pots.
Great item for great price! May 25, 2005 M. Wallace 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I really love this pot rack. It is just the right size for my small apartment kitchen. It is very strong, sturdy and good looking. All the screws, hardware and seven hooks came with it, and it was very easy to attach to the wall. I was afraid that it would come crashing down since I have drywall, but it has not loosened from the wall at all. On the top shelf I have cookbooks, but it has not loosened. I will probably have to order more hooks to hang more pots, and an order form comes with it to do just that. I get compiments by everyone who sees it. I am very happy with this item. Later on I found out that Target has a red one that I would have gotten instead since my kitchen is red,
Strong and useful January 31, 2009 J. Harrington 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm very satisfied with this pot rack. It was easy for me to mount by myself, it lined up ideally with my wall studs, and it holds all of my pots and pans (including my heavy cast iron frying pan). My kitchen is tiny and had no storage so this really saved me a lot of pain trying to store pots in the oven or where I'd prefer to keep other items.
Bookshelf Rack - Hammered Copper, Copper April 16, 2009 J.Davis (Los Angeles, CA) its just what i needed
seems sterdy enough, i have i think, 4 pans hanging (one is really heavy and large) and a couple other cooking utensils.
it was really easy to put up (boyfriend had to help, needed an electic drill)
the copper hooks are shiny and pretty
the copper coloring is, copper mixed with black. i hoped for a brighte copper but honestly, it's fine and while i expected it would attract all the attention in my kitchen, i never really look up at it. its functional, and classy. and does it's job. now i can get on with my cooking life!
ps, i have a couple books on top, laying down flat because, we had to install it so the "arms" point down - we thought it would make it more sterdy. and also, it helps keep the pans hanging higher so they're not in my face at the stove. thus, it's nice to have a place to put those few books, but it's not a place im actually using. i keep my oils and stuff, closer to hands reach.
Great product and great color July 31, 2009 Rita Ippolito (Buffalo, NY USA) I love this pot rack. It was easy to install in a very old apartment kitchen. It looks great, adds some color and holds my extremely heavy cast iron pans, (6 of them) and a wok, and 2 Crueset sauce pans w/lids. Great product, great color, great price.
