great cast iron panini without the $$$$$$ price tag February 2, 2009 C. Schwab (Round Rock, TX) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I found this exact panini press at Marshalls for $10...what a steal!
When I got home, I could not wait to use it with my Le Creuset skillet. When I bought the skillet, I did not spend the extra money for the panini press. I had seen this panini press on Amazon and toyed with the idea of buying it there and saving some money instead of spending $70 on the Le Creuset equivalent.
The panini press is a heavy cast iron and is excellent for making paninis! My tuna melt came out beautifully and clean up was a breeze. I highly recommend it, especially if you have the Le Creuset square skillet--it fits perfectly!
Instant Paninis June 30, 2008 Puhi Kahana (Waikiki) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a great product. it does everything those fancy Panini grills do. It makes a perfect crust with gooey cheesy inside. Easy cleanups-nothing sticks to it. Love it
Panini press. Makes a good grill pan lid. June 21, 2007 LDLM (NYC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this with a 9.5" square grill pan. It fits perfectly. With this combination things cook more quickly and still have the grill marks on both sides. I like it for panini too. Good for hungry people with little time for cooking.
Excellent product April 6, 2009 DF (Tucson) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this press because I already had a grill pan and didn't want something that would take up counter space. The directions are excellent and the product works as described. I love it!

This product is outstanding for the price! I checked several other places and this item is sold here for half what other vendors offered it. It's good quality and does the job.
