Product Description This microwavable bacon cooker lets the grease and fat drip off the bacon as it cooks. It lets you cook more bacon at the same time and at a faster rate. Cool-touch handle makes removing Make'n Bacon safe, while the drip pan lets you pour out unwanted f

Simply Incredible May 16, 2007 D. Pennella (New York, New York) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
Makin Bacon is great ... unlike the other reviews I've never had problems with this product at all. 6-7 minutes in the microwave and you get the crispiest tasty bacon I have ever had! When cooked just place on a paper towel for a minute and that's it. Then dump the grease and throw the entire thing in the dishwasher - fits easily - take up same space as normal dinner plate.
Can't live without it! December 7, 2007 Candy Chamberlin (Phoenix, AZ USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I eat bacon almost every morning. I had my first Mak'n Bacon years ago. I've bought one for all my family. I've had a couple people say they didn't think it would completely cook the bacon. They must not be leaving it in long enough. I've found that each bacon package cooks different so you have to adjust the length of time. This product is so easy to use and keeps the mess to a minimum. I couldn't live without mine!
Gotta Have It July 23, 2007 K. Thomas (NY) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this bacon maker for myself years ago, and it's the best that I have owned. I had to go out and purchase more of them as a gift. It is durable, easy to use, and makes great bacon.
Bacon - Fast & Easy November 7, 2006 R. Minor (Fresno, CA USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Bacon has always been a family treat for breakfast on the weekends, due to the time it takes to cook and clean-up. However, with this bacon cooker we can have bacon any day of the week in just a few minutes with no mess! The cooker works great, but avoid trying to cook too much bacon at one time otherwise it will cook unevenly. 12 pieces as pictured on the box is too much. I recommend only cooking 6 pieces at a time (one per row), but try it for yourself.
Simply Perfect! June 24, 2009 Robert T. Salisbury (Upstate NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought this unit last week the morning of a big brunch we were putting on for Fathers Day. We had bought a microwave bacon cooker in a kitchen store the week before and it melted the first time we used it. We bought the Makin Bacon being a little doubtful of it's performance. Well were we in for a nice surprise. On Fathers Day morning we cooked four pounds of bacon one batch after another and it performed perfectly! No melting, no drooping, and the only surprise was how well it worked. After each batch we simply emptied the grease out into an old margarine container, loaded it up again and then back into the microwave. I really can not see what some of the reviewers here are complaining about, I would reccomend Makin Bacon to anyone who is looking for a better way to cook bacon. It uses one sheet of paper towel to keep the spatter down. Before we were using 6-8 sheets on a plate to absorb the grease. For us it is a keeper.
